Mahama donates cash to Kumasi Special School

President John Mahama has donated an undisclosed amount of money to the Garden City Special School for the Intellectually Disabled for an excellent cultural display during the official inauguration of the Parkuso Community Day Senior High School (SHS) on Wednesday morning.

Some students of the school put up an excellent cultural display to entertain the crowd at a colourful event attended by traditional leaders, NDC gurus, the academia, people of Parkuso and several others.

The male and female students danced the traditional ‘Adowa’ for more than 10 minutes which drew applause from the crowd.

President Mahama, in his address, said he was extremely excited about the impressive cultural display by the students.

He said it was heartwarming to see the students dance ‘Adowa’ in unison in a majestic fashion to entertain the gathering.

He later asked Banye Mabel Asata, a teacher of the school, to come on stage for a white envelope on behalf of the school.
