Mahama deserves your votes – Asiedu Nketiah to Banda residents

General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has told residents of Banda to vote for no other person in the upcoming general elections than President John Dramani Mahama who is vying for a second term in office.

He is confident that President Mahama deserves their votes having initiated a number of infrastructural projects that have opened up the community to the rest of the world.

He said unlike some years ago when the now Banda District lacked the needed social amenities and teachers saw it as a punishment to be transferred to the area to teach, the community has now been transformed under President Mahama-led NDC administration.

The NDC Chief Scribe, popularly known as ‘General Mosquito’ made this observation when addressing thousands of party followers at the launch of the campaign of the Second Deputy Majority Whip, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim at Banda last Sunday.

The campaign was dubbed ‘Agenda 70% for President John Mahama and Ahmed Ibrahim’.

Commenting further, Mr. Nketiah said the new Banda District is now well connected with electricity, a Police Station, District Court, and an ultra-modern community day Senior High School which is almost completed.

He attributed the positive development of the area to President John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim and urged the electorates to reward the two leaders accordingly with their votes, come December 7.

Former Power Minister, Dr. Kwabena Donkor, speaking at the event also urged the electorates not to change President Mahama and the NDC government because of his numerous projects he has initiated for them.
