Police arrest man who killed his two brothers at Sawla

The man who attacked and killed his two siblings and fled at Blema in the Sawla/Tuna/Kalba district of the Northern region has been arrested.

He slain the two adult males on Thursday evening, dropped his weapon and went into hiding after the dastardly act.

The District Police Commander ASP Francis Numado confirmed the arrest of Anul Gao on Saturday, which was made possible with the help of the community members.

He said upon interrogation, the suspect claimed he consulted a medium over his challenges in life, following which it was revealed to him that his brothers were working to spiritually kill him hence he had to be smart to prevent them by killing them first.

ASP Francis Numado said the suspect will be arraigned before court on Monday for him to be remanded while investigations into the matter continues.
