Mahama cuts sod for construction of Accra-Tema Motorway flyover

President John Mahama, has cut sod for the construction of a flyover across the Accra-Tema motorway.

The flyover is one of many to be constructed to minimise the traffic on major roads in the capital.

The project, funded by a World Bank facility is at a cost of about sixty million Ghana cedis.

President Mahama, urged the contractors to use the required materials to ensure quality is not compromised and offer Ghanaians value for money.

Meanwhile, the President has officially opened the Burma Camp-Airport Hills overpass to traffic.
