Fuel crisis worsens

The acute fuel shortage that has hit the country got worse at the weekend as vcehicles formed long meandering queues at the few filling stations that had fuel to sell. There was chaos, confusion and fighting at the filling stations by the motorists in their determination to get fuel.

The scuffles resulted in some of the fuel attendants and drivers getting wounded, wqhile others lost monies.
