The district Police Commander for Effiduase Police in the Ashanti region T. K Honadu has assaulted the Studio Manager who doubles as a Disc Jockey with Ultimate FM Fidel Idun Kuranchie aka Mr Kaxtro.
Kaxtro was brutally assaulted by the police commander when he went to the Effiduase market to cover a demonstration by some drivers over extortion by GPRTU in the area.
He was interviewing the GPRTU Chairman Malala when the police commander who was infuriated by his presence started yelling at him, threatening to arrest him for recording the GPRTU Chairman perceived to connive with the police to extort monies.
Narrating the incident to Ultimatefmonline.com, Kaxtro who was injured on the foot explained that the irate drivers had accused the GPRTU of conniving with the police to extort monies from them.
Kaxtro was followed by the police commander when he was returning to the house after taking a picture of him, kicked him from behind resulting in the injury.
