Nduom wins against EC

The Progressive People’s Party will have an opportunity to rectify errors on the forms of its presidential candidate to enable him contest the upcoming December elections.

This follows a High Court ruling that quashed the decision by the Electoral Commission.

An Accra High Court presided over by Justice Eric Kyei Baffuor Friday morning ordered the Electoral Commission to allow PPP Flagbearer Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom correct anomalies detected on his nomination forms – basis on which the PPP flagbearer was disqualified.

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and 12 others were disqualified from contesting the presidency weeks ago after they failed to meet requirements set out in CI 94.
