Akufo-Addo no longer valued after 2012 defeat – Minister

The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru-Limuna has observed that the presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has considerably depreciated in value after two successive defeats.

He claims ever since his rejection, the nominee has not in any way added value to himself to want Ghanaians to reconsider him to manage the affairs of the country cautioning the electorate to wary and not gamble the future of the country.

“He is the same Nana Addo Ghanaians rejected in 2008 and 2012….nothing has changed because he has not added value to himself overnight to want Ghanaians to vote for him to become president”, he indicated.

Alhaji Limuna believes his defeat in the two successive elections is a clear manifestation Ghanaians are not prepared to have him as a leader and therefore will go into the history books as a renowned serial loser who ever contested any election in Ghana.

The Chairman of the Northern regional campaign task force boasted the NDC’s achievements in the country is unmatched and evident for all to see except for those who for political interest will deliberately refuse do so.

According to him, it will be suicidal for the country to hand over power to a candidate who has no track record and could reverse the development paradigm of the country when someone who has enough experience is at the helm of affairs.

“NPP has no message for Ghanaians and have resorted to lying in order to get votes. I can assure you that they will go for their third consecutive defeat because they have put out a shoddy good that has been rejected twice by Ghanaians. We have always beaten them and will continue to do that. They are our babies when it comes to the dynamics of winning elections so claims that we rig elections are neither here nor there”, he said
