President Mahama’s family donates GHS300K to Korle Bu Cardio

President John Dramani Mahama, together with his siblings, has donated GHS 300,000 to the National Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The president had a meeting with officials of the centre on Monday, October 24, and presented the cheque to the centre in fulfilment of a pledge he made some months ago.

The donation is proceeds from Mr Mahama’s mother’s funeral, which the Mahama family decided to offer in support of the development of the centre.

President Mahama’s late mother, Hajia Abiba Nnaba, died in Accra on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

She was buried in her hometown, Busunu, in the West Gonja district of the Northern Region.
