Ghanaians are going through ‘hell’ under Mahama – Bawumia

Running mate of Nana Addo, presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has chided the incumbent NDC administration for allegedly impoverishing Ghanaians.

The former deputy governor of the Central Bank was speaking to residents of Savelugu in the Northern region as part of his campaign tour.

According to him, the current challenges confronting the country are a result of the mismanagement of the economy under the watch of President Mahama.

“The problems we are having today in Ghana are from three particular related issues. Mismanagement, incompetence and corruption. Those are the three problems in Ghana today.

That is why we need a change from the mismanagement, incompetence and corruption. All these three things, lead to unemployment. Mismanagement, incompetence and corruption. Those are the three problems in Ghana today. That is why we need a change from the mismanagement, the incompetence and corruption.”

He added, “…The Mahama government has been a very bad experiment for Ghana. It has become a nightmare for Ghanaians and that is why we need to go to Nana Akufo Addo – a tried and tested person who has integrity and vision.” Dr. Bawumia who is partnering Nana Addo for the third time said, the NPP will “build a new economy that is going to create jobs.” “We have a plan to solve unemployment.

You will see a major change in the agricultural sector. You will see a major change in industrialization, underpinned by one district, one factory policy. You will see that we are going to reduce taxes and we are going to give tax credits for companies which hire fresh graduates.”
