NPP has no strategy to develop Ghana – Kwamena Ahwoi

A leading member of the the NDC and former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Prof Kwamena Ahwoi has urged the electorate to vote massively for President Mahama in the December 7th election to extend his mandate to govern the country for more development.

He made the appeal today when addressing the traditional leaders and people of Yefri in the Nkoranza North District in the Brong Ahafo region as part of a 6- day campaign tour of the region by the Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah.

Accompanying the Chief of Staff on the tour were the Regional Minister Hon Eric Opoku and some national and regional executives of the party.

Prof Kwamena Ahwoi said unlike the NDC which has a clear objective of developing the country and the strategy to achieve such development the the NPP has no objective and development strategy for the country .

He said the late President Mills and President Mahama involved the youth in their government because the present is for the youth not the future. According to him the youth have a lot to contribute towards national development.

Worth Of A Bird In Hand

Addressing the gathering, the Chief of staff, Mr Julius Debrah urged the people to vote massively for President Mahama whose wife Lordina Mahama hails from the region stressing that a bird in one’s hand is better than thousands of birds out of one’s hand.

The Chief of Staff also asked the people of Nkoranza North to vote for Hon Kwadwo Agyei Dwumor MCE for Nkaranza North and NDC Parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

The Nkosuohene of Yefri Nana Kwame Owusu said commended President Mahama for the numerous development projects he has provided to them such as schools and roads and said the people of Yefri will vote massively for the NDC on December 7th.
