Bernard Mornah must resign; he’s destroying PNC – Ex-MP

Former Member of Parliament for the Bolga Constituency from the year 2000 to 2008 on the ticket of Peoples National Convention (PNC), David Apasara, is accusing his party Chairman Mr. Bernard Mornah of destroying the party.

Apasara mentioned that the PNC is currently saddled with problems and challenges as a result of the poor, mismanagement and vindictive leadership of their chairman.

Speaking at a Press Conference held at the International Press Center, the former MP said Mornah and his secretary did not do due diligence as well as being proactive in ensuring that their Presidential Candidate Dr. Edward Mahama qualified for the December 7 polls.

Rather, they chose to relax and sleep in the party offices – exhibiting a high sense of apathy that led to the disqualification of Dr. Edward Mahama.

Notwithstanding this, a barrage of accusations is hanging around the neck of the chairman. He is egoistic; thus working for his parochial interest. And that all the cars given to the party for extensive campaign activities are nowhere to be found.

Again, he alleged that the PNC being one of the formidable parties in the fourth republic does not have branded vehicles to carry out their political activities.

Aside, out of the 275 constituencies the PNC has presented only 65 parliamentary candidates.

Hon. Apasera who won the primaries in the Bolga East Constituency for the PNC added that nomination list of their parliamentary candidates, had his name conspicuously missing at the EC after the deadline for filing.

He said the architect of his omission is Bernard Monah and the reason simply is because he Hon. Apasera has not relented in bringing to the fore the mischief his chairman.
