Cameras to check overspeeding

The Minster of Roads and Transport, Mr Edward Salia has deplored the spate of disregard for traffic laws and regulations by drivers. “These flagrant abuses have led to many accidents and subsequent destruction of of lives and property,” he said. “In due course”, he said, ” cameras will be installed to check overspeeding cars and offenders brought to book”. The minster was briefing the media in the “Meet-the-Press” series of the various sector ministries.
