Mr. Sam Cudjoe, Ashanti Regional secretary of the NPP, has stated that the party is determined totally to dominate the Ashanti Region in the next general elections.
With thirty-one out of the thirty-three parliamentary seats in the region in the NPP’s grip, the party “is making frantic efforts to grab the remaining two seats from the NDC and any additional seats which will be created should the creation of new districts and constituencies become a reality”.
“Not only is the NPP clamouring for the Parliamentary seats but it also wants to win over ninety per cent of the votes that will be cast in the coming elections”, he said.
He was speaking in an interview with the EVENING NEWS in Kumasi.
