Methodist Church inducts new Administrative Bishop

The Methodist Church Ghana has inducted into office, The Right Rev. Dr. Paul Boafo as the new Administrative Bishop.

The Presiding Bishop of the church, Most Rev. Titus Awotwi Pratt performed the induction ceremony at Wesley Cathedral in Kumasi.

He was supported by the ministers of the church, including the immediate past Presiding Bishop and Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Emmanuel Asante.

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur led the government delegation which included the Ashanti Regional Minister, John Alexander Ackon.

Most Rev Awotwi Pratt charged the new Administrative Bishop to be obedient, disciplined, hard work and recognise the contributions of others in the course of his work.

He tasked him to build on what his predecessors achieved and not focus on doing better than them.
