We’ll curse our MP for ignoring us – Buduburam NDC supporters

Supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Buduburam in the Gomoa East constituency in the Central Region, have vowed to invoke curses on the Member of Parliament, Ekow Okyere Panin, if he fails to honour his promise to them before the December 7 election.

According to the angry supporters, the MP after wooing them with promises which saw them voting massively for him in the 2012 election, has not stepped foot in the area ever since let alone honouring his promise.

The Branch Youth Organizer has given the NDC leadership up to Friday October 7 to appease them or the party will face massive defeat during the upcoming poll.

“We see items like, motors, tractors etcetera being shared by government and some MPs to their constituents, but we haven’t received even a hoe to use on our farms. We can see that the government and the MP have no good intentions for us residents of Buduburam, so we’ll invoke curses on them and also let them lose the elections.”

He added: “If we call him (MP) and he doesn’t respond, he’ll be severely beaten whenever we get hold of him, he himself told us that if he promises and does not deliver, we are free to do whatever we feel like doing to him. We’ll make sure that the NDC will lose the election in this town for the first time.”
