Housing Ministers calls for calm at Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly

Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Dr Kwaku Agyemang-Mensah, has appealed for calm as the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly prepare to elect a Presiding Member tomorrow, October 4, 2016.

“I wish to appeal to the Municipal Chief Executive and all Assembly Members and other stakeholders to put the interest and development of the people of Kumasi above all considerations,” according to a press statement released by the Minister.

While wishing for a “peaceful” and “smooth” election. The former Regional Minister of the Ashanti Region, Dr Agyemang-Mensah added that the various factions of the assembly should bury their differences for the “growth and development of the nation.”
