‘Operation zero casualty on December 7’ launched ahead of polls

The Peace Ambassador for Election 2016, Irbard Ibrahim has launched ‘operation zero casualty on Dec 7’ geared towards creating enough public awareness of the electoral process to make sure not a single Ghanaian dies or gets bruised on Election Day.

He declared the operation at a national peace match organised at the Ohene Djan (Accra) Sports Stadium Saturday.

In a speech delivered at the event, Irbard called for the accentuation of values that unite the nation rather than those that divide it.

He presented a trophy to the winning political party team and called for national unity and political tolerance as the country inches closer to the December 7 polls.

The event was organised by Real Plan Foundation and was attended by a flag bearer and national executives and football teams of PPP, NDC, NPP, APC, GFP, CPP and PNC.
