A 12-year old girl only identified as Sala Seibu is reported to have been shot and killed by one Godfred Muhammed at Kunsuyoso a suburb of Mankranso in the Ashanti region.
The deceased was dumped in the bush after she was killed by the suspect. Her body was later retrieved from the bush after a thorough search by the people in the village, when she did not return from her dried fish selling. Doctors’ report confirmed that Sala was shot.
The suspect admitted killing the girl after Police interrogation, explaining that the deceased was always mocking him anytime she bumped into him.
He was fished out of his hide-out with the help of community members.
Godfred led the police to the crime scene to retrieve the hidden gun he used in killing his victim.
He wondered what prompted him to commit such a heinous crime.
