Thousands of New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithfuls thronged the Upper Denkyira East and West Constituencies to catch a glimpse of the NPP’s vice-presidential candidate on Wednesday 28th September 2016 on day 3 of his campaign tour of the Central Region.
Addressing the crowd at separate rallies held at the Diaso Town Park, Ayanfuri Market Square, Dunkwahene’s Palace and El Wak Park at Dunkwa-On-Offin, Dr. Bawumia said the next NPP administration has well-thought plans to ameliorate the sufferings that have been inflicted on the citizenry by the incompetent John Dramani Mahama government.
Freelancer in the area Gabriel Bediako reported that Dr. Bawumia at the El Wak Park in Dunkwa-On-Offin, Dr. Bawumia told the massive crowd that an Akuffo Addo-led administration would revive all the social intervention programmes that have waxed cold under the NDC government and also indicated that plans are far advanced to restore all Teacher Training and Nursing Training Allowances that have been scrapped by the ruling NDC.
