2016 Cocoa Day Celebration slated October 1

The 2016 Cocoa Day Celebration is scheduled for 1st October, 2016 at Tepa Senior High School Park, Tepa in the Ashanti Region.

Cocoa Day is an annual programme which is organized by Ghana Cocoa Board to recognize our hardworking cocoa farmers, create awareness of the health and nutritional benefits of cocoa and promote its consumption among Ghanaians.

The theme for this year’s celebrations is “TRANSFORMING THE COCOA SECTOR FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH”.

As part of activities to mark the 2016 celebrations, there will be an exhibition and a grand durbar on 1st October, 2016 at the Tepa Senior High School Park, Tepa at 10:00am.
