Government posting teachers to non-existing schools – NPP

The New Patriotic Party has accused the ruling NDC and the Education Ministry of posting teachers to non-existing schools in an attempt to win votes in the upcoming polls.

According to the National Organiser of the NPP Sammy Awuku, the move is intended to influence the new teachers and their families to vote for the NDC.

Awuku who was speaking to the Wa UDS branch of the Tertiary students’ Confederacy of the NPP said the incumbent government has done a lot to cripple the economy. He urged them to vote the NPP to power for massive transformation.

“The video is there, one guy, a teacher from Sunyani who has been posted to Labusi, the whole town if you ask anyone about the school, no one knows where the school is; it does not exist. How can you be posting teachers to non-existing schools, don’t let this 419 government to turn your six into nine”, Mr. Awuku stated.
