NPP set for Kwesimintsim primary today

The much-anticipated parliamentary primary of the New Patriotic party(NPP) in the Kwesimintsim constituency in the Western region is expected to come off today.

The primary was suspended for months due to some disagreement that rocked the internal poll of the largest opposition in the constituency, primarily between incumbent Joe Badoe Ansah and opponent Joseph Mensah.

Officials superintending the polls today have assured that everything is in place for a successful primary.

Meanwhile, Joseph Mensah the challenger of the incumbent[Joe Badoe Ansah] earlier accused the MP of deliberately delaying the party’s primary to frustrate the polls.

But said he’s confident of victory in the primary, despite the confusion which stretched the elections billed for today.
