Mahama is compassionate – Deputy Chief of Staff

President Mahama has come under attacks from various groups, opposition parties and individuals for allegedly sharing cash on one of his campaign tours.

While some believe it unnecessary, the largest opposition party has tagged it as an act of vote buying

Speaking to kessben fm, the deputy chief of staff at the presidency, Jonny Osei Kofi says though he hasn’t seen the video yet; he sees the act as a form of compassion.

“I haven’t seen any video of a sort where the President is sharing money., But if indeed he did that, then he’s been compassionate”.

He added “It’s only out of compassion that the president will give”.

“Government has done a lot in the last few years, let’s focus and that and stop been petty”.
