APC to outdoor Vice Presidential candidate Saturday

Saturday, September 24, 2016 would be a special day in the history of the All People’s Congress (APC) as the party outdoor’s its Vice-Presidential candidate for the 2016 general elections.

The candidate will partner with the party’s flag bearer, Hassan Ayariga, to contest the general polls for the first time since the party’s inception in 2015.

The event which will take place at the party’s headquarters at Haatso-Westland will bring together party faithful across the country.

General Secretary of APC, Razak Kojo Opoku in a statement released in Accra said the party a week after the outdooring of their Vice-Presidential candidate will launch its campaign at Bolgatanga Jubilee Park.

According to the chief scribe, the new date for the campaign launch has become necessary “to give an opportunity and ample time for the party to seriously work on the Presidential Nomination Form and the Parliamentary Nomination Forms so that the party shall successfully file with the Electoral Commission on the 29th September, 2016”.

“The successful filing with the EC takes precedence over Campaign Launch”, he added.
