Former Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for the Old Tafo, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei has described the Transport Minister, Fifi Fiave Kwetey, as a liar and a blocked headed politician.
According to him, the Minister lied and peddled falsehood in his so-called “setting the record straight” and that the NDC government is still enjoy Highly Poor Indebted Country (HIPC) benefits.
The Transport Minister accused the NPP of going for $750 million Eurobond which was used for paying salaries and vehicles.
Speaking to Atinka AM Drive with Ekourba Gyasi Friday, the former Minister of state said, Mr. Kwetey lied when he said the erstwhile NPP government had stolen all the gold reserves in the country but later could not prove the allegations before the Vetting Committee in Parliament.
He also mentioned that the NPP did well by making investments in the various sectors without accruing huge debts as is the case of their main opponent.
