Foreigners in petty trading will be chased out under my gov’t – Nduom

The Flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has hinted of chasing out all foreigners especially Chinese nationals engaged in illegal mining and petty trading activities meant for Ghanaians when voted into power.

He observed that the Chinese nationals have taken over businesses meant for the Ghanaian citizenry.

Dr. Nduom wondered why the government has failed to send the Chinese nationals packing to their home countries.

He gave the warning whiles addressing residents of Ejisu in the Ashanti region as part of his campaign tour in the region.

‘Chinese, Dutch, American and British nationals who are engaged in petty trading in our markets will be driven away when I win power,‘ he assured.

He promised that unemployment will be a thing of the past, explaining that he has provided jobs in various areas of the country.

‘You have to believe me because I have done it before; I have already provided jobs in Sampa, Yeji, Kwame Danso, Elubo and other areas. I wouldn’t be making promises of providing one million jobs if voted into power like what John Mahama has been doing whenever he addresses people in the North and Akufo Addo promising of one district-one-factory. We are job doers, we will do it,’ he said.
