Koforidua Sectech students donate blood

Seventy students of the Koforidua Secondary Technical School on Tuesday donated a pint of blood each to the Koforidua Regional Hospital Blood Bank.

The Assistant Chief Blood Donor Organiser of the Hospital, Mr Emmanuel Bonney, commended the students and said the school is one of four schools in the region that always respond to the call of the blood bank in times of crisis.

He said the school won the second position in the Southern Sector Freemasons Schools Blood Donation competition in 2001.
