Lordina Mahama is ‘shadow Vice President’ of Ghana – NPP activist

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth Organizer in the Brong Ahafo Region, Kwame Baffoe, aka Abronye DC, has described the first lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama as the shadow Vice-President of the land looking at the way she has carried herself over the years.

However, the first lady, he noted, has failed the people of Brong Ahafo Region if one compares her work output in the region to that of the former first lady of the land, Mrs. Theresa Kufuor.

Both are natives of the Brong Ahafo region.

Backing his claims with facts, the regional youth organizer said Mrs. Theresa Kufuor during her days as the first lady of the land lobbied for the construction of several kindergartens across the Brong Ahafo region.

Her doings, he argued, has gone a long way to improve on the standard of education in the region.

But unlike Madam Theresa Kufuor, the current first lady, he said, has done little to improve on the fortunes of Brong Ahafo Region.

Interacting with Kwame Adinkra on Abusua 96.5 FM on Monday, Abronye said a 2010 report from the Ghana Statistical Service has revealed that the Brong Ahafo region recorded the lowest intake on people recruited into the various security agencies.

Although he did not disclose the figures to support his claim, he said the first lady could have helped changed the situation and ensure that the region was treated fairly.
