A presidential staffer in the office of the Vice President, James Agyenim Boateng has called on the public to disregard a tweet making rounds on various social media platforms that the Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur failed to respond to Dr Mahamadu Bawumia’s lecture because of rain.
He told ultimatefmonline.com in an exclusive interview that the said the tweet is a photo shopped just to create the impression the Vice President is not up to the task.
“Disregard any such tweet. It is a desperate attempt by some faceless individuals to denigrate the Vice President of the country”, he said
Meanwhile, a quick check on the Vice President’s twitter handle revealed he has not tweeted since the last three days.
