NPP living in self-denial over Mahama’s achievements – Veep

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has said the New Patriotic Party is being delusional in their persistent claim that the Mahama administration has not achieved anything substantial since it assumed the reigns of the state.

According to him, such claims are only made by the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition for convenience and mischievous political purposes.

“I can understand when our opponents make such claims. Because it is more convenient and easy to say nothing has been done than to admit that something has been done and that you will improve it if you win and election,” the Vice President said when he introduced President Mahama at the Banquet Hall where he gave highlights of the NDC’s 2016 manifesto.

Mr Amissah-Arthur also said the NDC has been consistent with the infrastructural development of the country in the years that they have been in government.

Giving highlights of the manifesto, President Mahama said the NDC will introduce a new deputy ministerial role which will pay peculiar attention to technical education if they retain the presidency come December 7.

He noted that about 30 out of his promised 200 secondary schools will be allotted for technical education at the secondary level.
