The controversial lawyer, who claimed he survived only on coconut water during the period, disclosed that he will crown his hunger strike with a press conference either in Kumasi or Accra to let Ghanaians know benefits of his fast.

“Physically and spiritually I have become clergyman with angelic visitations through this period. I have become a man of God all of a sudden and beginning to see a lot of spiritual things”, he told Ultimate News’ Ivan Heathcote – Fumador.

According to him, angels manifested a lot of songs to him during the period he voluntarily starved himself and is hopeful the purpose for this exercise will be achieved.

A livid Maurice Ampaw claimed he will not back down on his resolve to challenge the remission granted the trio even though article 72 0f the 1992 constitution gives the president such powers.

Maurice Ampaw who is on a nationwide anti-Mahama campaign to fight against his second term bid as well in the upcoming elections.

Contrary to earlier claims he would quit practicing as a lawyer for a year, he said he will instead campaign against the president.
