Atebubu missing baby: Maternity home officials to face court today

Managers of the Ante Joe’s maternity home in the Brong Ahafo region will today appear in court over a missing baby at the facility.

20-year-old Grace Kuma reportedly delivered a baby boy at the maternity home but the baby went missing after delivery.

The missing baby’s father has already been remanded on suspicion that he had a hand in the incident.

The Atebubu Police Commander Chief Superintendent Joseph Dzinaku told Starr News the facility is also operating under expired documents which is an offense in addition to the missing baby.

“We are going to charge the managers of the facility formerly so that they respond to it because they have a lot to tell us. We called them into a meeting and found out their documents have expired which is also another offense that we are yet to work on”.

Chief Superintendent Joseph Dzinaku however added that hope of finding the missing baby is very faint.
