Western Region JUSAC members elect new officers

Sekondi, Nov 14, GNA- The Western Regional Branch of the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) on Friday elected Mr James Ackah unopposed as its Chairman at an election held at the Sekondi High Court. Mr Jacob Aikins was also elected unopposed as the Vice Chairman. Mr Ernesto Dagadu polled 18 votes to defeat Mr. Paul Onumah who had seven votes to become the Regional General Secretary.

Mrs Veronica Agyarko-Eshun and Mr. David Sefogbey were also elected unopposed as the Deputy Regional Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Mr. Francis K. Brakwa and Ms. Elisabeth Amankwandoh, were nominated to serve as the two executive members.

Mr Ackah expressed his gratitude to members for electing him and pledged

to work hard to improve the image of JUSAG in the region. The new Regional JUSAC executives would serve a three-year term.
