Boa Amponsem Secondary School Holds Speech Day

A Deputy Minister of Education, Mr.. Kwabena Kyereh, has stressed the importance of human resource development as a cornerstone of the nation’s economic development, poverty alleviation and social progress. He was speaking at the 36th Annual Speech and prize giving day of Boa Amponsem Secondary School that the country’s education is in crisis. the Deputy Minister said inspite of efforts by the government and other collaborators to enhance access, equity and quality education for all children of school going age, it is unfortunate that achievement levels in schools have not been as remarkable as expected. He, however, reiterated that the challenges inherent in the implementation of the educational reform programme are being seriously addressed. Mr.. Kwabena Kyereh, therefore, appealed to all Ghanaians to appreciate and support the noble ideals of the Education Reform Programme.
