Legon Alumni donates to the University Hospital

Accra Nov.12, GNA- The Alumni Association of the University of Ghana, Legon has donated 50 pieces of bed sheets and pillowcases worth 7.5 million cedis to the University Hospital.

Mr Kwaku Mensa-Bonsu, Chairman of the University of Ghana Alumni, who made the presentation said the Alumni, owed a duty to the University and the hospital.

“We got a lot from the University and the Hospital, there is therefore the need to give back something in appreciation ” he said. Mr Mensa-Bonsu said the Alumni would donate to the Hospital yearly as part of its Alumni week celebrations.

Dr Mrs Vivian Akoto, Acting Director of the Legon Hospital who received the items and commended the donors and said the staff of the hospital were determined to render more services to the University. 12 Nov 03
