Ghana is ready to work with genuine partners-Kufuor

Accra, Nov.10, GNA- President John Agyekum Kufuor on Monday said Ghana was ready and determined to partner genuine investors in its socio-economic development.

He said Ghana being a developing country had much room to improve on its partnership with investors to showcase itself as the right investment destination within the West Africa Sub-Region.

President Kufuor made the call when a delegation from General Electrics Foundation paid a courtesy call on him at the Castle, Osu.

Mr Marc Saperstein, Vice President of General Electrics Foundation, said the Foundation had targeted three African countries to undertake pilot project in the provision of medical and power generation equipment to hospitals and other health institutions.

He said the countries were Ghana, Botswana and Mozambique.
