The Chief Imam settles dispute and opens ICODEHS projects in the Brong Ahafo Region

A mosque and a school block built by the Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian Services (ICODEHS) a local non-governmental development organization have been commissioned by the National Chief Imam sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu at Sampa in the Brong Ahafo Region. The projects were funded by Abu Dhabi Red Crescent and meant to provide decent educational facility and a place of worship for the people in the area. The National Chief Imam performed the duty during his tour to the Brong Ahafo Region together with his entourage that included the chairman of ICODEHS sheikh Mustapha Ibrahim. The national chief imam as part of his duty tour settled a dispute between a section of the Muslims in the area and the imam of the town. In his address after leading the Muslims in prayers the National Chief Imam appealed to the leadership Muslims in the area to close their ranks and work together in line with Islamic principles for the progress and development of their area an people. The chairman of ICODEHS on his part expressed satisfaction over the warm reception given the National Chief Imam and his entourage and promise to continue providing school mosque and wells in all parts of the country. He also advised the beneficiary community to maintain the project to be able to last long
