The Ashanti Regional Police Command has cautioned the public to be wary of two suspected robbers believed to be of Fulanis extraction currently on the run.
They are reported to have led various gangs in series of robberies in the city until the police disbanded their gangs and managed to arrest some of them.
But the two who have described as most wanted, managed to escape and police have described them as the most dangerous characters who may be working round the clock to reestablish links with other robbery gangs to foment trouble in the Kumasi Metropolis.
“These are very dangerous persons who can kill their victims especially when they pose some form of resistance”, ASP Yussif Tanko, Police PRO told Lantam Papanko on the Ultimate Breakfast Show.
He revealed that police has intensified effort to curb the spate of robbery in the region to make the place safe and appealed to the public to assist police with information leading to the arrest of the suspects as he chronicled operations of the hit-groups.
