The University of Professional Studies, Accra at its 8th Congregation on the 30th of July conferred on Chief Dele Momodu an honourary Doctorate degree.

The award, according to the management of the prestigious institution is in recognition of Chief Momodu’s outstanding contributions and great distinction to the world of business, politics, literature and the media industry.

President Mahama applauding Chief Momodu’s contribution to developments in Africa stated that one of the reasons he’s present at the University’s 8th Congregation is to honour a great journalist and a respected African personality in the person of Chief Dele Momodu.

“I do this for his outstanding contribution to both national and international discourse, his strong personality, his vision, his perseverance in and strength in the face of adversity …”

Chief Momodu is a prominent Nigerian businessman, journalist/publisher, philanthropist, motivational speaker and a former presidential aspirant.

He’s the Chief Executive Officer of Ovation International Magazine, mainly in Africa. He also owns Ovation TV station and an online newspaper called The Boss.
