Nigerian cell mate harassing me – JB’s ‘killer’ cries

Daniel Asiedu, the self-confessed murderer of Abuakwa North Member of Parliament Joseph Boakye Danquah has revealed that a Nigerian cell mate at the Legon Police Station has been harassing him.

He has since been transferred to the Kotobabi Police cells to enable him avoid further confrontation after the Criminal Investigations Department officer handling his case was informed.

His case has, however, been adjourned to August 19, by presiding judge His Worship Stephen Owusu.

The case was adjourned after Chief inspector Isaac Agbemehia who held brief for substantive prosecutor in the case, Insp. Francis Baah told the court that Mr. Baah is out of the jurisdiction.

He also told the court that they are still waiting for the Attorney General’s advice on Asiedu’s docket.

Meanwhile, Augustine Obour, lawyer for the two accused persons, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso, was not in court.

19-year-old Asiedu was arrested for allegedly stabbing the late JB Danquah Adu at his residence on February 9, 2016. The former legislator was buried in April this year.

The suspect was subsequently charged with murder and remanded into Police custody.

The second suspect Bosso was later arrested after investigations by the CID.
