Professor Delle has hijacked the CPP – Lucy Anin

A member with the Council of Elders in the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Madam Lucy Animwaah Anim has accused the National Chairman, Prof. Edmund Delle of hijacking the party.

The former legislator said the ‘second coming’ of Prof. Delle was intended to destabilize and hijack the party for his parochial interest.

Speaking in an interview with Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, she indicated that the current Delle led leadership are ”Trojan horses” with an objective of selling off the party to the ruling government.

She indicated that the suspension of the general secretary and national youth organizer of the party, Nii Armah Akomfrah and Ernesto Yeboah, was a calculated attempt to prevent them from fighting the hijackers in the CPP.

The embattled officers she added are courageous officers who are committed in ensuring that the ideals of their founder, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah lives on.

”I makes no sense to suspend your national officers for fighting against corruption. How can you suspend them for petitioning CHRAJ to investigative President Mahama over his acceptance of the ford gift saga?”

Madam Lucy Animwaah stressed she is however not surprised at the current challenges facing the party, because it was purposely planned.

She also rubbished allegations that she was attacking the chairman and other leaders of the party because her favourite candidate, Samia Nkrumah was not elected as presidential candidate.
