Supreme Court was wrong in jailing Montie 3 – Prophet Kobi

Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Waves International Church says the Supreme Court jailed the ‘Montie boys’ wrongly.

In an interview with Kaakyire Ofori Ayim on Atinka AM Drive Monday, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi stated that as a man of God, he would not indulge in politics but the said the judges could have done better with their ruling.

He added that although he accords the judges the needed respect, they were wrong both spiritually and physically in sentencing the three gentlemen to four months in prison.

According to Prophet Kobi, the prisons are choked and people could be made to do more community services than serving jail terms.

He stressed that the continuous jailing of people is the cause of the nation’s inability to progress. The Man of God also slammed the Montie gang for their infamous comments.

He however pointed to the lack of fairness in the judicial process , stating that when Anas Aremeyaw Anas revealed that some judges had taken bribes, the court did not jail them but rather relieved them of their duties.

“What kind of injustice is that,” he uttered.
