Abura youth threaten bloodshed

Some Youth from Brempong Kwodwo Ebiradze Royal Family at Abura in the Cape Coast Metropolis of the Central Region have threatened to cause mayhem in the area if the Ebusuapanyin of Royal Ebiradze family of Abura, Ebusaupanyin Kobina Issaka does not stop the various announcements that their Ebusuapanyin, Nana Egyare Kotompo III has been destooled.

In view of that, the youth in the family had over the weekend staged a massive demonstration against Ebusuapanyin Issaka for spreading false information to the people in the area.

The youth wore red bands amidst drumming and chanting of war songs.

They indicated that the allegation that their Ebusuapanyin has been destooled was creating tension in the area, hence the need to rise up and straighten the facts.

They warned that as members of the family, they would deal drastically with anybody or organization who attempts to tarnish the image of their Ebusuapanyin, Nana Kotompo because he had been properly enstooled by the family.

According to information, Ebusuapanyin Issaka on December 23, 2015 dragged Nana Kotompo to court to file a motion of interlocutory injunction against him to restrain him from continuing the development of a land on which Nana Kotompo was putting up a family house.

According to them, although the court had placed the injunction on the building, the Brempong Kwodwo Royal Family has filed an appeal against the ruling and is waiting patiently for the outcome only to hear that their Ebusuapanyin has been destooled.
