MP attacks radio panellist at Cruz FM

There was tension and pandemonium at the studios of Cruz Fm yesterday when Member of Parliament (MP) for Offinso North stormed the studio and beat up a panellist, Kwasi Agyenim Boateng even before the Morning Show started.

Hon. Collins Ntim slapped Mr. Agyenim Baoteng for issuing a press statement in the name of a pressure group, Coalition for Joint Action (CJA) as the convenor for the group which suggests a diversion of his (MP’s) Common Fund to a private Micro-finance Company called Summit Vision Microfinace in Accra.

After slapping the radio panellist, he told his followers numbering three(3) holding sticks to beat up the man.

It took the intervention of listeners around the station who were listening and the police to calm nerves and restore peace.

Meanwhile, Mr. Boateng, popularly known as ‘Stanic’ has since reported the matter to the police.

Below is the statement that initiated the attack from the Offinso North MP, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim.
