A member of the Ashanti regional communications team of the NPP has launched a scathing attack on Koku Anyidoho labeling him as a “dishonest” and “discredited” politician.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with asempanews.com, Edmund Kyei stressed that the NDC’s deputy general secretary’s recent attacks on Dr Mahamudu Bawumia are born out of hatred and absolute “buffoonery”.
Koku Anyidoho has vowed to torment the NPP running mate if he fails to produce his 90% of Togolese on Ghana’s voters register.
According to him, Dr Bawumia is the genesis of the recent disagreements surrounding the voters register, hence the need for him to produce his so-called evidence.
But, Mr Kyei says the NDC’s deputy scribe lacks the moral right to query Dr Bawumia’s integrity, and said, it was laughable for a loudmouth like Anyidoho to question the sincerity of a man who has distinguished himself in his career.
“It is pathetic to listen to a nonentity like Anyidoho fighting tooth and nail to discredit Dr Bawumia. Ghana is suffering because elements such as Anyidoho got to the corridors of power.
“We were in this country when this same Anyhidoho publicly announced the dismissal of the so-called Ashanti regional director of ECG, when in real fact, no position of such nature existed.
“What is his record when he worked as director of communications at the presidency? He was all over the place,” Mr Kyei fumed.
