Nkawie Sec/Tech institutes bursary scheme

Nkawie (Ash), Oct 30, GNA- The Nkawie Secondary/Technical School in the Atwima District has instituted a bursary to assist brilliant but needy students of the school.

Under the scheme students who place either first or second in each subject area will enjoy the facility.

Mr Prince Joseph Aguri-Amanfo, Headmaster of the school, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview that the award would cover half of the boarding and day fees.

He said 18 students in form two and three have been selected to benefit from the award in technical, business, visual arts and agricultural science subjects.

Mr Aguri-Amanfo said the award would be reviewed periodically based on academic excellence.
