Mahama arrives in Kigali for AU Session

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 27th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government.

President Mahama will in his capacity as Co-Chair of the UN Eminent Persons on SDGs host a special working session for colleague Heads of State on the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals within the framework of the African Union’s Agenda 2063.

The 27th Session will also discuss financing of the African Union.

Accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hanna S. Tetteh (MP), President Mahama is expected home on Monday.
