St. Augustine’s College: Sick student dies after exeat denial

A student of the St Augustine’s College at Cape Coast in the Central region has died after he was denied exeat by school authorities to seek medical attention.

Information available to ClassFMonline.com suggests that the student had not been well for some time and made a number of attempts to seek permission to go home but all to no avail.

His condition worsened on Thursday night July 7 and died at the hospital after his colleagues had rushed him there.

Even though school authorities are tight-lipped, a source in the school confirmed the incident to Class News.
