2016 Ghana Street Carnival in pictures

The 2016 Ghana Street Carnival started off with much enthusiasm over the weekend, with various cultural and artistic groups on parade to showcase the various faces of Ghana’s culture and Creative Arts industry.

The three-day event also saw the La Brea Nightingales Steel Band of Trinidad and Tobago leading the a delegation in attendance.

Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, was glad the annual event which is in its third year has received enormous support both locally and internationally.
